Smart Pricing System
At PlugZ, we use an advanced pricing system that combines internal data from our marketplace with external market factors to offer more accurate and fair prices. Our methodology ensures that prices reflect internal supply and demand, as well as cultural, social, brand, and rarity signals.
Internal Data (40%)
We use information from our own marketplace:
- Last confirmed sale price
- Pending confirmation price
- Weighted average of bids and offers
- Price range and trends
- Transaction volume
- Buy/sell gap between buyers and sellers
External Data (60%)
We incorporate external factors that influence the market:
- Social Sentiment (25%): Mentions and engagement on social media
- Cultural Impact (20%): Appearances in movies, series, and media
- Brand Signals (10%): Public brand and company indicators
- Media Sentiment (15%): Coverage in news and blogs
- Rarity (30%): Product availability and scarcity
Calculation Formula
Final Price = (Internal Price × 40%) + (Internal Price × External Multiplier × 60%)
The external multiplier is calculated by combining all external factors with their respective weights. This ensures that market trends are reflected in prices proportionally and fairly.
