What the verifier network is
The verifier network is the human core of PlugZ authentication: vetted specialists and reputable stores that physically receive items sold on PlugZ, inspect them in hand at local hubs, and record the outcome. AI tooling can assist with evidence, but it is advisory only — a verdict always comes from a person who examined the item.
How a verification works
Verification happens inside a PlugZ order — it is not a separate service sold on the side. When an order in your categories is routed to your hub, the flow is the same every time:
Receive
The item ships to your hub as part of the order, with chain of custody logged from the moment it arrives.
Inspect
You examine the item in hand against brand and category criteria. AI checks are advisory only — the verdict is yours.
Seal
Items that pass are sealed with an NFC tag that ties the physical item to its record.
Record
Your verdict, your name, and the inspection evidence enter the item's provenance record, then the item continues to the buyer.
Economics, stated plainly
Verifiers receive 60% of every verification fee.
Verification fees are charged as part of an order on PlugZ. What you earn depends entirely on the verification volume your hub actually handles — we do not promise volume, and we do not promise income.
Verification is not a standalone service: fees exist only inside PlugZ orders, so there is no separate per-item service to sell and no fee outside the order flow.
Accountability
Your name on every verdict
Buyers and sellers see who verified their item. A verdict is a professional statement you sign — that visibility is what makes the network worth trusting.
Bound by the Verifier Agreement
Every verifier operates under the PlugZ Verifier Agreement, which sets inspection standards, handling and turnaround expectations, and the consequences of negligent or dishonest verdicts.

Who can apply?
Independent specialists and stores with demonstrable authentication expertise in the categories they want to cover. Every application is reviewed individually — approval is not automatic.
Do I need a physical space?
Yes. You need a secure place to receive, inspect, store, and ship items — a store, workshop, or comparable setup. Photo-only verification is not part of the model.
Can I offer verification outside PlugZ orders?
No. Verification exists inside PlugZ orders and is not offered as a standalone service.
