Pricing Transparency
Understand how PlugZ calculates product price suggestions
Smart Pricing System
At PlugZ, we use a pricing system that combines internal platform data with external product-context signals to offer clearer price suggestions. Our methodology reflects internal supply and demand alongside cultural, social, media, and rarity indicators.
Internal Data (40%)
We use information from PlugZ platform activity:
- Last confirmed sale price
- Pending confirmation price
- Weighted average of bids and offers
- Price range and trends
- Transaction volume
- Buy/sell gap between buyers and sellers
External Data (60%)
We incorporate external factors that influence product demand:
- Social sentiment (25%): mentions and engagement on social networks
- Cultural impact (20%): appearances in films, series, and media
- Brand data (10%): public brand and company indicators
- Media sentiment (15%): coverage in news and blogs
- Rarity (30%): product availability and scarcity
Calculation Formula
Final Price = (Internal Price x 40%) + (Internal Price x External Multiplier x 60%)
The external multiplier is calculated by combining all external factors with their respective weights. This helps price suggestions reflect available product-context signals proportionally.
