Browse the catalog or search for a specific model, open the product page and pick your size. You can buy instantly at the lowest ask or place a bid and wait for a seller to accept it. Once you check out, your payment is held in escrow while the item goes through evidence-based verification, and it is only released to the seller after that process completes.
You are charged at checkout, but the money does not go straight to the seller. Funds are held in escrow while the item ships to a PlugZ verification center and is inspected. Escrow is designed to protect both sides: the seller is only paid after verification and delivery, and eligible refund claims are paid back out of the same escrow.
Tap Sell, find your product in the catalog, choose the size and condition, and set an ask price — or accept an existing bid. When it sells, you receive a prepaid shipping label: you ship the item to a PlugZ verification center within 48 hours, not directly to the buyer. Your payout is released to your PlugZ wallet after the item clears verification.
If our reviewers cannot match the item to the listing based on the collected evidence — for example a different model or size, or an undisclosed condition issue — the sale is cancelled and the buyer is refunded from escrow. The item is sent back to the seller, and repeated mismatches can affect your seller standing on the platform.
Every item sold on PlugZ ships to a verification center before it reaches the buyer. Trained reviewers document the item — construction, materials, sizing labels, packaging and, where present, the embedded NFC chip — and record that evidence against the listing. PlugZ uses evidence-based verification: it is designed to give buyers a documented, reviewable basis for every purchase instead of an unsupported claim.
Today, supported items are paired with a standard NFC tag and an on-chain provenance record. The tag links the physical item to its verification history on PlugZ, and tapping it with a compatible phone is designed to open that record. This uses industry-standard NFC and complements the in-hand verifier review rather than replacing it. Not every item carries a tag yet — coverage is expanding over time, and items without one still go through the same verification flow. Separately, we are developing next-generation, tamper-evident authentication hardware as a future upgrade to strengthen the link between a physical item and its digital record; that hardware is still in development and not yet available.
Orders move in three legs: the seller ships to a PlugZ verification center within 48 hours of the sale, verification is typically completed within 24-48 hours of arrival, and the final leg to you takes about 1-5 business days depending on your location and carrier. Most orders arrive within roughly 4-9 business days end to end.
Yes. Your order page shows the full journey: seller handoff, arrival at the verification center, verification progress, and the final carrier leg to your address, each with its own tracking updates. If a leg stalls — for example the seller misses the 48-hour shipping window — support can step in and, when needed, cancel the order and refund you from escrow.
Because every item is inspected at a verification center before delivery, sales on PlugZ are final by default — returns are not offered for buyer’s remorse, size choice, or change of mind. If the item you receive does not match the listing or its verification record, you can file a claim with support within 72 hours of delivery and return the item for analysis. See the full Return & Refund Policy on the Returns page for eligibility and steps.

POP is PlugZ’s closed-loop platform credit. It can be used only inside PlugZ for eligible uses shown in the product. It is not transferable, withdrawable, or traded on external venues. POP earning is not currently active.
After your item clears verification and escrow is released, your earnings land in your PlugZ wallet. From there you can withdraw to your connected bank account via Stripe. Payouts require a completed identity check (KYC), and first-time withdrawals can take a little longer while your account is reviewed.
Sellers and anyone withdrawing money must complete an identity check with our licensed KYC partner. This is required by anti-money-laundering and payment regulations that apply to marketplaces handling payouts. Your documents are processed by the KYC provider under our privacy policy and are never shown to other users.
